I think...
The key to a real POWER grip, for a forehand throw, is to grip the disc tightly between your thumb on the top of the disc and whatever finger or fingers you have underneath the rim of the disc. Your thumb and fingertips should be touching, seperated only by the rim of the disc. A real tight grip will (and should (?)) warp the plastic of the disc beneath your fingers.
Also, if you are going to throw huge backhands, watch where they land. Bushes will take your discs! Be careful.

If you throw them hard enough the bushes won't want to catch them anymore
My forehand pull is almost full field right now... I'll have to try that and see if it gives me a couple extra feet!
